How to Record your Desktop using VLC Media Player

VLC is most widely used Media Player and main reason behind its popularity is  it supports almost all extensions of videos . In this media player we can operate many tasks like convert video and repair broken videos although you can enjoy some hidden tricks of video player.

Here today i am going to show you new trick of VLC through which you can record your desktop . where you can create videos by using the trick. For this trick you does not require any special software extensions just follow the below steps.

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

• Open VLC on the top left of menu just click on "MEDIA"
• Then go to "OPEN CAPTURE DEVICE"

• Now go on to "CAPTURE DEVICE"
• select "DESKTOP" and set desired frame rate as 30fs
• Now click on "PLAY" button at right-bottom of the page
• Select as "CONVERT" option

• There you can see a window of convert,click on "SETTINGS"

• You can see a new Pop-up window, go to "VIDEO CODEC"
• Set Bit-rate as "1504 kb/s"

• Then select a Destination folder you want to save your file. next Click on "START"

Here goes now recording of your desktop whatever actions are you performing are recorded and saved in destination folder.
